Possible strengthening bank any of the currently known way:

• Gabion - the most traditional and economic way. Gabions are made of galvanized steel, consequently having anticorrosive properties, and are filled with any type of stone, which makes their use even aesthetic;
• Monolithic concrete is strong, reliable, frost-resistant. It is used to strengthen bank thoroughly and in casethere is a built structurein the vicinity;
• concrete and plastic grooves made of PVC are used to strengthen the bank, to prevent from natural water disasters and to adjust the bed of the channel or river;
• geograting: due to its flexibility iyou can strengthen the gentle slope or shore, repeating its natural terrain,and also you can keep vegetation. The right size of geograting is selected and it is filled with gravel, pebbles, soil or other material depending on the load and angle of slope;
• needle-punched geotextile is used to strengthen the shore of the reservoir with a small water load and a very small stream, where the water is almost stagnant.
• coconut mat is a natural ecological coconut fiber used to strengthen coastal zone, due to its porosity improves the mechanical properties of the soil, keeping it in the air and moisture and promote the growth of vegetation;
• Use of plants - shrubs, and trees. It is also called a bioengineering method. Due to the proliferation of a strong root system the shore slope gets stronger and self-cleaning is perfoemed.
